Cows for Sale

Crescent is a fabulous A2/A2 young bull born on our farm on 5/15/21. He is a rare cross of the three outstanding dairy breeds: Jersey (50%), Guernsey (25%) and Normande (25%). The half-moon shape on Crescent’s face is from his Normande heritage. In France, Normande cows are raised as a dual-purpose breed for high quality meat and milk. Normande cows are also known to be docile and low-maintenance.

Crescent’s dam, Angelina, is a robust, healthy Jersey perfectly sized in the mid range. Crescent’s sire, Sunny, is a half Guernsey half Normande. We love our Guernseys’ delicious creamy milk, especially perfect for making nutritious golden butter. Normande milk is excellent for fine cheeses.

This beautiful mid-size bull is a third generation raised on our holistic farm. We use only non-gmo/organic feeds and stick to grass-fed diet. We maintain a closed herd, free of blv, bvd and Johnes. We never bring untested animals to the farm and never rent out our bulls to keep the herd free of disease.

Crescent is being raised by his dam who is our family milk cow. We calf share when we milk.
